The materials are VERY cheap. The gliders for the drawers are made out of PLASTIC. I couldn't believe it. Cheap plastic that snaps into the sides of the dresser. The drawers are hard to pull out because of this. I would expect more for the money paid for the product. I am not sure what kind of metal is used for the hardware but two of the metal pieces literally crumbled like brittle clay when I tried to screw them in. Not only can I not use one of the drawers because of this, one of the doors to the wardrobe part of dresser completely broke from its hinges. I am going to have to seriously finagle this expensive piece of junk just to make it usable. There is no way I am going to disassemble it and send it back. The directions were good though. The quality of material is decent, and not flimsy etc. Happy with the end product. The color and finish is quite nice, so it looks great once put together. We've been using it for over 6 months now, and have not had any issues with it at all. Everything works fine, and nothing has broken, despite this thing having a bunch of plastic parts. |
